French football legend, Eric Cantona surprised customers and staff at Newbridge Silverware today (Wednesday, 23rd September) when he unexpectedly popped in for a spot of lunch. The former Manchester United star enjoyed a leisurely afternoon at the renowned Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre in Co. Kildare, dining in the Silver Restaurant before taking some time to explore the popular visitor attraction.
The former Manchester United star stopped off at the popular Kildare visitor attraction, where he enjoyed lunch in the Silver Restaurant before spending some leisure time exploring the Visitor Centre. One of football’s most recognisable personalities, Cantona is regarded as one of Manchester United’s iconic players, becoming a hugely influential figure at the club during the 1990s.
Following lunch, the Frenchman took some time to enjoy the Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre, home to the company’s extensive showroom and the renowned Museum of Style Icons, which has welcomed numerous famous faces over the years.Cantona’s visit added another celebrated name to the impressive list of international stars and personalities who have passed through the doors of Newbridge Silverware.
Located in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, the Visitor Centre has become one of the county’s best-known visitor attractions, combining shopping, dining, fashion and entertainment history under one roof.
