This September, history is being made just across the road as Croke Park hosts Ireland’s very first NFL regular-season game. On Sunday, September 28th, the Pittsburgh Steelers face off against the Minnesota Vikings, with kick-off at 2.30pm. And there’s nowhere better to start game day than at The Croke Park hotel, the closest hotel to the action.
From 11am to 2pm, The Blue Room at The Croke Park will host a special Touchdowns & Toasts NFL Pre-Game Brunch, the perfect warm-up before the big game. Guests can enjoy a 90-minute sitting of all-you-can-eat indulgence for €50 per person, with a menu bringing together classic American comfort with Irish flair.
There’s JJ Young’s pork sausage patties, fluffy pancake stacks, golden waffles, eggs any way, and homestyle potatoes, alongside lighter choices like granola pots and fresh fruit juices. Those with a sweet tooth are catered for beautifully too, with favourite US desserts like apple pie, pecan pie, and gooey chocolate brownies making a play for the end zone.
As it’s a Sunday, drinks are served from 12.30pm, but that still leaves plenty of time to raise a glass before watching the biggest football showdown Ireland has ever seen.
