All the goals came in a cracking first half as the Cork AUL came from two down to pip Dublin AUL 3-1 at Turners Cross in the annual challenge for the Tayto Cup. The visitors took the lead in the 8th minute when Mark Ray blasted past keeper Pakie Murphy from 12 yards. Dublin subs gave them an edge in the third quarter but couldn't find a goal. Barry Dennehy went close for the home side who were then grateful to see sub keeper Finbarr McNulty save a stinging David Farrell shot towards the end.
