The inaugural Tony O'Mahony memorial tournament run by Waterloo AFC was won by Strand in a close final at the Grenagh Community Centre last night. After Strand and Waterloo AFC were level 1-1 after full-time, Strand won 4-3 on penalties. Foley in goal for Strand was the difference between the sides with two splendid saves. Waterloo's Denny Hegarty picked up overall player of the tournament.
