Brief report on tonight's games.

First of all congratulations to Macroom A – they are the Premier A champions after defeating Castleview 3-1 last Tuesday night.
Second spot will now be decided between Ballyvolane and Kanturk.

Premier:
Leeside continue with their extraordinary form after chalking up another three points tonight in a 2-0 victory over Wilton in what was a fantastic game of football at the Farm.
Richie Gettings got both goals – one of which would have qualified for any “goal of the season” competition.
Village and Glenthorn ground out a 0-0 draw at Silver Heights and really did not do each other any favours in the battle for survival.
Tonight, was all about three points for both sides.

League 1:
What a battle royal the race for the title in this section is turning out to be and after tonight’s results, you would want to be a brave man to predict the champions of this group.
In the big one tonight, Douglas Hall came from behind against Killumney to run out 3-1 winners in the end.
This win means they have now leapfrogged Killumney into third spot.
Fifth place Grangevale cruised to a 4-1 win over Watergrasshill and while Kilreen eased their way past the challenge of St. John Boscos with a 4-1 home win, Dunbar Celtic turned on the style and went top after a terrific 4-1 victory away to fellow title-contenders Leeside.
In-form Shandon Celtic continue to make progress up the table with a 2-1 away win over Carrigtwohill and Richmond travelled well to collect maximum points after their 4-1 victory away to Postal.

League 3:
What about this…….. Leeside led 4-1 at one stage in their game against UCC but the students showed tremendous resilience and fought back to draw 4-4 in their last game of the season – what a comeback.
