BARRY PEELO SAYS HELLO...

"Just a note to begin with:
First of all, it is a great honour and privilege for me to be appointed by the league to take over from Billy Lyons as PRO of the Cork AUL.
I realise that this is a very important profile and I am in no doubt after working in a similar capacity as PRO for the Youth League as to what kind of effort, dedication and committement is necessary to perform this kind of role in an effective and efficient manner.
I would like to pay homage briefly to my predecessor Billy Lyons.
It has been well documented by now how pivotal Billy’s enormous contribution has been over the last 30 odd years in helping to promote the image of the Cork AUL through his excellent coverage on the Evening Echo.
Following in a legend’s footsteps is never an easy task but I will be making every effort to ensure that the Cork AUL continues to improve its tremendous image and character through the various medias and with your help, I am certain that we can achieve this objective without fail.

Pre-season:
The Evening Echo usually provides us with a significant amount of space prior to the commencement of the new season. If you would like your club\team to be included in this space, I would be more then pleased to visit one of your training sessions with a view towards taken a few photographs of players\squad along with a brief interview with coaches and Managers.
