Congratulations to Greenwood, the Murphy’s Stout Team of the Month for December. Entries for January (including Feb 1st) should now be sent to Henry Healy at 19 Inniscarra Road, Fairhill. Entries close on Friday February 13th

This Wednesday's disciplinary meeting in Turner’s Cross starts at 7.00; the next meeting is scheduled for February 18th.

Clubs the won trophies last season are reminded that all cups need to be returned by 31 January as per rule. They can be handed in to Turner’s Cross on Wednesday nights between 7.30 pm and 9 pm or to any member of the committee.

Linnane Cup news


1st February 2009.
1 The Mossy Linnane League Cup for Premier and Premier A teams will be split into 4 Groups.
2 Groups will consist of 4 teams in each, and 2 Groups will consist of 5 teams in each.
4 Group winners will qualify for semi finals.
Group stages will be played on a League basis with each team playing each other once.


The following criteria will apply if 2 teams finish level on top on points after group stages.
1: The result of the game between the two teams.
2: Goal Difference.
3: Goals For.
4: Lottery between the two teams.
The following criteria will apply if 3 or more teams finish level on top on points after group stages.
1: Goal Difference.
2: Goals For.
3: Lottery between the teams involved.
