GRATTAN UPDATE
Grattan United, who scored a great 3-2 extra time win away to Clonmel Celtic in last weekend's FAI Cup game, entertain top Tipp side Peake Villa in the next round this Sat afternoon at 2.00pm. O'Neill Park is the scheduled venue but if, by any chance, it is unplayable the club have an alternative lined at the local school, just down the road.
Grattan's secretary Gavin O'Mahony extends his thanks to Temple's Tony O'Brien for helping with the back-up pitch. Gavin also reports that the squad, which is managed by Pat Caulfield, coached by Robbie O'Callaghan, has been boosted by the news that the inform John Kelleher, who missed the Clonmel tie, is likely to be fit to play tomorrow afternoon.
