OSCAR TRAYNOR CUP:

The Cork AUL side bowed out of the Oscar Traynor Cup following their 4-0 defeat at the hands of Limerick DSL on Monday night at O'Shea Park in Blarney.

The Cork side had a terrific first half and more than matched their opponents in football and endeavour, but the second half was a different ball game entirely and after an early Limerick goal, the visitors blitzed through the rest of the 45 minutes minutes as they grabbed three more goals in superb fashion.
