No real great surprises after tonight’s results.
Premier: The two big games in the Premiership were Leeside at home to Blarney Street where the homesters fell behind through an early goal after just eight minutes but, Leeside stepped it up a gear or two and a brace from Diarmuid Ryng with Graham Keane adding a third made it 3-1 in the end for the leaders.
The other big one was Wilton’s home game against Kinsale. Both teams failed to break the deadlock in the end. Derek McCarthy fired Kinsale ahead in the first half but, a Shane O’Neill goal cancelled the visitor’s advantage out and in the end, it was a share of the spoils for both sides.
Premier A: Killumney were stretched all the way by a gallant Glenthorn Celtic before struggling cross the line with a narrow 2-1 victory.
In the battle to avoid relegation, Leeds came out on top at home to Village following their 1-0 win.
Things are not looking good at all now after these results for both Glenthorn and Village.
Third Divisions: Not much to rant and rave about in the third division action tonight apart from Newmarket’s last second equaliser to steal a point from Buttevant B and keep their slim hopes alive for promotion.

Will be back tomorrow night with a brief preview on Thursday’s action.
Cheers,
Barry.
