High School Clonmel took the FAIS Munster Minor Cup at Turner's Cross today when they defeated Cork's Presentation Collage in sudden death penalties after a 1-1 draw. Clonmel, physically stronger in this Under 14 decider, took an early lead and dominated the first half. Pres never gave up, equalised early in a much more even second half. Extra time produced no further goals. It was four all after the regulation five penalties before the Tipperary lads sent Pres into despair (temporary, I'm sure) in sudden death.
