Munster Junior Cup 4th Round:
Goals from Timmy O'Shea and Conor Hawes was enough to
book Springfield's passage into the 5th round of the Munster Junior Cup after their 2-0 win away to Buttevant.
League 1A:
Douglas Hall made a dramatic recovery when they fought back from 2-0 down to run out eventual 3-2 winners over Richmond at Moneygourney.
An own goal by Donal O'Connell and a Gavin Hinchey header had Richmond lead 2-0 at the break.
But, in a dramatic turn-around that saw Douglas Hall put on a superb performance in the second period, Mark Daly (own goal), Dermot Moynihan and Finbarr Desmond all chipped in to keep Douglas Hall's title aspirations alive with a 3-2 win.
It now looks like a two horse race for the 1A title.
Kilreen are on top with 12 points to spare while Douglas Hall in second spot have four games in hand.
What makes this one very interesting still is - The Hall must play Kilreen twice.
