SPORTS HEROES 

If ever you are in Fitzgerald’s Park and have a little time on your hands why not pop in and have a look at the Sports section in CORK PUBLIC MUSEUM where admission is free.

Here you’ll see the Tyler Cup presented by the shoe company of the same name to the Munster Junior (soccer) League for competition in season 1904-05. There is a Roy Keane jersey there and also souvenirs of the likes of Christy Ring and Sonia O’Sullivan and mementoes from many other sports and sportsmen.
