Let’s take a look at some interesting observations as a result of tonight’s results.

League 1: Leeside hold on to top spot after their slender 1-0 win over neighbours Boscos but the other results have thrown the cat among the pigeons a bit.
After a couple of blips last week, Douglas Hall have put themselves right back in the hunt after a huge 2-0 win over title contenders Killumney and now lie in second spot just three points behind leaders Leeside but with a game in hand.
Dunbar are another side making a big impression of late and after a tremendous 2-0 win over Grangevale, they now lurk in third spot.
(What a match-of-the-week next Sunday’s game promises to be between themselves and Killumney at Killeady).

League 2A: As expected, it was always going to be a matter of time before Springfield A would make their presence felt and after tonight’s 2-0 home win over Hillington, they now sit in third spot just two points behind leaders Waterloo but with a game in hand.

League 3: After leaders Brooklodge went down 1-2 away to Boscos, second-place Dunbar lost a golden opportunity to close the gap but went down themselves 0-1 away to Greenwood.
