Some more interesting results on Thursday night.

Premier: Blarney Street climbed up a couple of places after defeating last year’s champions Wilton 4-2 at home.

League 1: With Grangevale going down 1-2 away to Richmond, Douglas Hall losing at home 0-2 to Dunbar, Killumney chalked up their second win on the trot since Tuesday after their 5-1 home win over Shandon Celtic and are certainly starting to make in-roads as they sit in fourth spot with 26 points – six points behind leaders Leeside but with three games in hand.

League 1A: The surprise result here was Donoughmore’s 0-2 defeat at home against Buttevant. Bohemians had a good 2-1 win at home to Passage as they sit in fourth spot - six points behind leaders Donoughmore but with a whopping seven games in hand.

League 2: Glenvale claim back their position at the helm after a 3-1 away win over City Wanderers and now lead by two points with a game in hand over second place Innishvilla.

League 2A: Springfield A established themselves in third spot after travelling to defeat leaders Waterloo 4-3 in a close game but Millstreet’s terrific form continues with another 4-1 win tonight at home to Glanworth.

League 3A: Second place CFC Banteer are hot on the heels of leaders Macroom after their slender 1-0 home win over Rathcoole.

All starting to get very exciting.
