The Murphy’s Stout Match of the Week sees Coachford entertain promoted Grattan Utd in the Premier League. Should be a good one. Experienced referee Christy Byrne is in charge and he’ll start Sunday’s game at The Glebe at 10.45am.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Ian Casey (pictured) of Hibernians who broke an ankle while playing with the club’s 2B team recently.

Well done to Bosco's Paul Cashman. He showed dedication above and beyond the call of duty last weekend: celebrated his engagement on Saturday night and then turned out for the Premier A team against Kanturk on Sunday.

While Martin Conlon will be covering the Match of the Week, my likely games are Saturday’s FAI tie between Villa Utd and Togher and Sunday’s Premier A clash between Ballyvolane and Ballincollig. If there are any time or venue changes for these games, the home clubs might please let me know.
